The True Test of Leadership: Aligning Your Business Purpose to the Beauty of God.
The test of true leadership is not about how many wins or loses you have accumulated. While the bottom line may indicate goals and achievements, true test of leadership is how you align your business purpose to the Beauty of God, for in there in there and from there comes true value and profit.
Be that as it may, life on earth for everyone may seem slow and steady, but it’s busy with fast moving parts that require a leader to know how to make decisions that will advance the cause of the business and honor God. And how to respond to environmental development that would affect their business one way or the other such as the result of the election.
These moments bring growth, transformation, and new opportunities. However, missing them can lead to stagnation and regret. Being mindful and aware of these moments enables us to make informed decisions, seize opportunities, learn from experiences, and grow and evolve.
Vehicle of Healing
In this new political and economic landscape, the true test of leadership is how you respond to the result of the election by seizing the opportunities of using your business as a vehicle of healing. This mindset is crucial amidst this new emerging economic and political landscape where navigating life's transition requires embracing humility, compassion, and prayer.
Key Strategies.
Personal: Remember Who You Are
The key strategy is to remember your main purpose, your main goal, your direction, which is aligning every aspect of your business to the beauty of God. Because your life and identity are not determined by politics but by providence.
So, you must discover, refine your purpose, through self-reflection on your values, your passion, your strengths, set goals that are achievable, bring new synergy to your team.
For your own personal growth, be humble, be vulnerable, and be relatable. Being relatable builds trust and helps bring your team together, for as you do this, you also bring cohesion into your business, where healing can take place.
Developing a strategy that reflects on your value, aligning your faith and your passions, and adapting your business strategy to those envisioned needs, and seeking guidance from mentors, peers, and spiritual leaders, as well as coaching and consulting are definitely things that leaders must embrace during this time.
Community
The second strategy is to build a diverse community. After you have refined your purpose in this landscape, which does not change, but how you pursue it may change. And that means you must know how to build constructive collaboration or synergistic energy into your business communities and stakeholders in light of the changing external environment.
Prayers
So, after you have defined and refined your purpose, and after you have spent time on building your business communities, not only with your employees, but also with your clients and your suppliers and all stakeholders of your company, the next thing is to have prayers.
Pray guidance for the incoming president, the new administration and fellow business leaders. Ask God for humility, wisdom, creativity, and focus. Pray for kindness and compassion. Ask God for the gift of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, to cultivate a heart overflowing with love. Pray for divine healing through acts of kindness soothing wounded hearts and spirits. Pray for compassionate leadership for all leaders in the home, in business, in schools, in religion and in government.
Pray that all leaders will seek compassion and kindness, governing with hearts that radiate with divine love. Pray for leaders’ empathy towards others, that they would develop true empathy, listening deeply and understanding without judgement, the different kind of perspective.
Pray for forgiveness and reconciliation, seeking forgiveness and reconciliation, healing relationships and souls. Pray for selflessness in service. Offer service to your clients, customers, employees, through kindness and compassion.
Outcome
By incorporating these strategies and prayers, you will navigate life's traditions. You will build value, creativity, and productivity into your organization, capitalize on opportunities, and fulfil your purpose amid uncertainties.
